Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 April 2026
This is the short version: we collect what you give us, we use it to do the work you came here for, and we don't pass it around. The longer version is below, written in plain English so you can actually read it.
Who we are
BluCurrent is a Melbourne-based consulting practice operated by Brendan Campbell (ABN 66 254 813 200). When this policy says "we" or "us", that's who we mean. We are the controller of any personal information you share with us through this site.
What we collect
We collect information in two situations: when you use the Find the Static diagnostic, and when you contact us directly.
| What | When |
|---|---|
| The text you type into the diagnostic (your description of the friction in your business, plus the industry and business size you select) | Every time someone runs a diagnosis |
| The diagnosis we generate for you | Every diagnosis |
| Your email address (only if you ask us to send you the three follow-up notes) | Only if you opt in after seeing your diagnosis |
| Your IP address, browser, and device type | Logged automatically by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention |
| Anything you write to us in the contact form, by email, or on a discovery call | When you choose to contact us |
We do not ask for, and you should not enter, sensitive information into the diagnostic — for example health, financial account numbers, racial or political information. The diagnostic is not the place for that.
Why we collect it
- To deliver the diagnosis. The text you type is sent to our language model provider so the diagnosis can be generated and streamed back to your screen.
- To send you the three follow-up notes — but only if you tick the box and give us your email.
- To prevent abuse. Your IP address and basic browser metadata help us spot scraping, brute-force attempts, and bot traffic.
- To improve the diagnostic. We sometimes review anonymised inputs and outputs to check the diagnosis is reading well and the numbers are sensible.
- To follow up if you've asked us to. If you book a call or contact us directly, we use what you've shared to prepare for the conversation.
Who has access
Inside BluCurrent, only Brendan Campbell handles your information. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it with marketers.
We use a small set of trusted suppliers to run the site. They process information on our instructions and only for the purposes above:
| Supplier | What they handle | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic (Claude API) | Generates the diagnosis from your input | United States |
| Resend | Sends the follow-up emails (if you opted in) | United States |
| Netlify | Hosts the site and runs the diagnostic function | United States / global edge |
Because these suppliers are based in the United States, your information may be transferred and stored overseas. We use suppliers with strong contractual privacy protections, but you should know this transfer happens before you use the diagnostic. By using the site you consent to this transfer.
How long we keep it
- Diagnostic input and output: kept for 30 days, then deleted. We use this short window to investigate abuse reports, debug issues, and review output quality. After 30 days it is gone.
- Email address (if you opted in): kept until you unsubscribe, or for 24 months from the last time we heard from you — whichever comes first.
- Direct correspondence with us: kept for as long as the relationship is active, plus 7 years afterwards if it relates to a paid engagement (this matches Australian record-keeping obligations).
- Server logs (IP, browser): kept for 30 days for security purposes.
Cookies and tracking
We do not currently use cookies or pixels for advertising or cross-site tracking on this site. The site uses a small number of strictly necessary technical cookies set by our hosting provider to keep the site running.
We have placeholder advertising pixels (Meta and LinkedIn) installed but inactive. If we ever turn them on, this policy will be updated and a clear notice will appear on the site before any tracking starts.
Your rights
You have rights under the Australian Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you;
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
- Ask us to delete what we hold (where we are not required by law to keep it);
- Withdraw consent for the email follow-ups at any time, by clicking unsubscribe in any email or emailing us;
- Make a complaint about how we have handled your information.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@innmotion.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can take it further with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Security
We protect your information with HTTPS in transit, encrypted storage at rest with our hosting and email providers, access controls limiting who can read what, and a documented response plan for the unlikely event of a data breach.
If a breach occurs and is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Visitors from outside Australia
The site is operated from Australia under Australian law. If you are visiting from the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR — including a right to object to processing and a right to data portability. Email privacy@innmotion.com.au and we will handle your request the same way we would handle it for an Australian visitor.
Children
The site and the diagnostic are aimed at people running businesses. They are not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, post a notice on the site for at least 30 days. If you have given us your email, we will tell you by email.
